Shenanigans

God is so good!!!!  He has Hudson in his hands and there is no denying it! 

Another big day...Hudson was wide awake this morning and had on one of my favorite outfits!  I am partial to him but I really do think he is the cutest baby!

During rounds today they ordered his 2 month shots, increased his food volume and decreased his clear fluids and weaned him off vapotherm to nasal canula.  Not going to lie...I was nervous about so much in one day and questioned the doctors.  They listened to my concerns and justified all the changes.  And said he needs to be challenged and if it is too much we will give vapotherm back to him.  8 days after surgery and he is doing so well with his respiratory.  He has been a rock star with the changes!  And if he is doing this well tomorrow .......he gets to try a bottle for the first time. 

Today he also had his pulse oxygen test....and he passed!  He also had his hearing test...he rocked that one too!  Tonight he is on 27% oxygen and according to the nurses seem to be doing better with the nasal canula!!!!

Talked with the team today about Hudson's goals and road to home plan...we see the light at the end of this road getting brighter each day!

Hudson loves his pacifier so he should love the bottle ...its that whole...suck, swallow and breathe combo he needs to master!
